Laboratory Equipment

 Today we are learning about Laboratory Equipment and it's use.

Equipment name: Test Tubes

Use: To put liquids inside, its smaller than a boiling tube, for doing any experiments.

 Equipment Name: Beaker

Use: They are made of glass or plastic, there are 3 sizes of beakers, they have measurements on the side.

Equipment Name: Conical Flask

Use: They have a smaller neck and have a wider body, they are always made of glass.

   
 Equipment Name: Bunsen Burner

Use: They are used for heating/boiling things, they are used with a tripod, heatproof mat and a gauze mat, they use gas to function.

 Hello welcome, here is a task we did with Mrs A for a couple of weeks it was quite fun but it took me a long time to get it done because we had to check our work so many times 

Reflection for the Cultural Kete

 This whole term the 7,8 and 9 have been working on our cultural kete we had to make posters, food wear a cultural clothing to the day. Me and Amanda did Brazilian Culture I made a sweet called Brigadeiro it's like a chocolate fudge ball with chocolate sprinkles around it, Amanda didn't bring it though I got angry at her but she had her own reasons and then my teacher sliced them in half and everyone got to taste most of them liked it and I sketched a lady in a carnival costume. It was very fun seeing the others creations   

Body Percussion - Hurumanu

 In the past few weeks we have been doing a thing called body percussion, so basically we have to make a beat with objects and our own body my group was 4 people but Canada wasn't here so me Shylah and Skyla did our beat together we used a Snare Drum, an Abacus and some Bean Bags and we used our voices as well, we had a few tries but someone kept interrupting us but we finally got a decent one, it was very fun and it was quite funny seeing our mistakes after we recorded it. Here's what me and my group came up with

The Invention of the Pavlova

In the past few weeks we have been doing things around inventions I did three of them the Springfree Trampoline, the Pavlova, and the Medical Honey, we had to make a poster about one of the inventions I did the pavlova, we had to put the What, Why, How, When, Who and a diagram of a Pavlova and it had to have colour on it.  In last few weeks in art we have been doing some researches on logos to be creative to create our own logo one day we had to get 10 creative logos and put them in a slides and choose our 3 favorite ones  and it was really fun doing this here's my work
